Content removal

YumeDB is an unofficial, non-commercial catalog: titles, synopses and artwork are normalized from third-party sources (currently MyAnimeList via the Jikan API) and belong to their respective owners. If you hold rights in material shown here and want it removed or corrected, this page explains how — we act on valid requests.

What to send

• Who you are: your name and contact email, and whether you are the rights holder or act on their behalf.
• The work: identification of the protected work (title, registration or official source if available).
• Where it appears: the exact URLs on yumedb.vkoshtovnyi.com where the material is shown.
• Good-faith statement: that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the rights holder or the law, and that the information you provide is accurate.

Where to send it

Email contact@vkoshtovnyi.com with the subject Takedown request. DMCA-style notices are accepted, though this service operates under Spanish and EU law.

What happens next

• We acknowledge receipt and review the request.
• Valid requests are honoured as quickly as possible — normally within 10 business days, faster for clear-cut cases. Removal can mean deleting the material or suppressing it from the affected pages and the public API.
• Cover art and images: when we have cached a copy on our own storage, honouring a request deletes that copy and stops the image from reappearing on later syncs — not just hiding it on the page.
• If we believe a request is mistaken or incomplete, we will reply explaining what is missing. The affected uploader (for user content) may submit a counter-notice.

User content

The same process applies to content added by users (profiles, lists, reviews). Accounts that repeatedly infringe third-party rights may be suspended under the Terms of use.

Not a takedown?

For privacy requests (your personal data) see the Privacy Policy — you can exercise your rights from Settings → Account or by email. For factual corrections to catalog data, signed-in users can propose edits directly on each page.
