About YumeDB

YumeDB is a global entertainment knowledge graph: an open database of anime and manga, with their characters, staff and studios, all connected.

We run as a multi-source data hub: we sync information from external sources, normalize it into a single canonical model, and serve it through an open public API, in the spirit of Jikan or MyAnimeList.

The project is AI-first: much of the catalog is maintained automatically, which lets us favor explicit, transparent and verifiable data.

For now we focus on anime and manga. Live-action series and films will come later.

YumeDB is a non-commercial, fan-made project. Catalog data currently comes from MyAnimeList through the Jikan API; titles, synopses and artwork belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with MyAnimeList. Rights holders can request removal of any material via the contact in the legal notice.
